As fotografias e o texto do autor s\u00e3o justapostos com as imagens apropriadas de slides do in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo XX cujo prop\u00f3sito original era educar estudantes americanos sobre a estrutura da ind\u00fastria. De fato, essas imagens escondem as verdadeiras condi\u00e7\u00f5es de trabalho e degrada\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental nas \u00e1reas colonizadas. Neste ponto cr\u00edtico da hist\u00f3ria devem ser exploradas certas quest\u00f5es sobre as rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre os poderes industrializados (militarizados) e as antigas col\u00f4nias.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-406\" title=\"NetherWallop_5_lr\" src=\"http:\/\/seminariolivrodeartista.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/netherwallop_5_lr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"198\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The project set forth by the artist in this book is to explore the relationship between the individual and the juggernaut of the historical global economy. The author\u2019s photographs and text are juxtaposed with appropriated images from early 20th century lantern slides whose original purpose was to educate American students about the structure of industry. In fact, these images hide the true conditions of labor and environmental degradation in the colonized areas.
