Em 2008, o artista colombiano Kevin Sim\u00f3n Mancera deu in\u00edcio a um projeto de
\nperegrina\u00e7\u00e3o por pa\u00edses da America Latina. Seu objetivo: encontrar a felicidade.
\nPara isso, escolheu tratar o problema como uma quest\u00e3o formal, de territ\u00f3rio,
\ne localizou em mapas digitais 13 lugares cujos nomes remetem ao termo.
\nEm sua peregrina\u00e7\u00e3o, Mancera passou pelo Equador, Peru, Bol\u00edvia, Argentina,
\nCol\u00f4mbia, M\u00e9xico e Cuba. No lugar de anota\u00e7\u00f5es ou de fotos digitais,
\ncomuns a qualquer turista, o artista criou, para cada pa\u00eds, um livro de artista
\ncom desenhos de sua experi\u00eancia de deslocamento.
\nA compila\u00e7\u00e3o desses livros foi lan\u00e7ada em um \u00fanico volume, intitulado
\n\u201cLa Felicidad\u201d, publicado pelas Edi\u00e7\u00f5es Tijuana em parceria com Jard\u00edn Publicaciones, por ocasi\u00e3o de sua exposi\u00e7\u00e3o em S\u00e3o Paulo. A mostra reuniu\u00a0desenhos, fotografias e livros de artista.<\/p>\n

In 2008, Colombian artist Kevin Sim\u00f3n Mancera began a project of pilgrimage
\nthrough countries of Latin America. His aim: to find happiness. To this end, he
\nchose to approach the problem from a formal standpoint, as a question of territory,
\nusing digital maps to locate 13 places whose names refer to this term.
\nIn his pilgrimage, Mancera passed through Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina,
\nColombia, Mexico and Cuba. Instead of the notes or digital photos commonly
\ntaken by tourists, the artist created, for each country, an artist\u2019s book with
\ndrawings of his experience of displacement.
\nDuring the exhibition, the compilation of these books was released in a single
\npublication entitled La Felicidad, by Edi\u00e7\u00f5es Tijuana. The show also features
\noriginal artist\u2019s books, drawings, and photographs.<\/p>\n
